Hello and Happy Autumn!

Hardcover and board book versions of Mushroom Lullaby, written and illustrated by Kenneth Kraegel.

October 7, brings the release of the board book version of Mushroom Lullaby. If you would like to order it, there are lots of options at this link.(make sure you click on the board book version). Of course, for the best experience go to your local bookstore. If they don't have it, raise a fuss and say, "WHAT? You don't have the board book version of Mushroom Lullaby? How could you not have it? Everybody is reading it." See how that goes.

I'll be doing some readings for this release, which will be extra fun because a board book reading means reading to very young and very cute kids.

October 15, 11:00 Storytime at Schuler Books on 28th Street, Grand Rapids, MI (with the one and only Ms. Margaret!).

October 16, 10:30 Storytime at BookBug in Kalamazoo, MI.

November 1, 10:30 at Plumfield Books in Ada, MI.

Mushroom Lullaby was the first of the Lullaby series, followed by Mermaid Lullaby. A month ago I finished the third Lullaby which comes out next July. It starts with an F....

I have the pleasure of visiting the Ralls County Library in Ralls County Missouri again. I'll be there October 9. At 9:30 I'll do some readings and talk with the different age groups and then I'll be back from 6:00-7:00 for Family Night where I'll be talking about the process of making a picture book. We'll have fun!

And for the Hoosiers:

On November 10, I'll be at the Indiana Library Federation Conference in Indianapolis. I'll be signing books at 10:30 and then I'll be part of the Hoosier Author Roundtable at 2:30.

And November 20th I'll be at the Bedford Public Library at 4:00 for a reading and talk with the kids. I'll talk about how I make my art and bring some samples to show. Then I'll give a short art lesson that we can try out then and there!

Happy Autumn!
