School Visits
Get ready for an engaging presentation that will take the students on the fascinating journey of making a book
Watch a story as it starts as an idea in Kenneth's head and, with a lot of hard work, slowly becomes a book. Along the way students will learn about writing a first draft, sketching, editing, revising, creating the artwork and the value of perseverance. An optional component can follow which demonstrates the concepts of perspective and color and explains how students can use them to enhance their own art. Kenneth uses lots of slides, props, and questions for students in his energetic and engaging presentation. Presentations last for 30 - 45 minutes, depending on the ages of students. These include a book reading and time for Q&A at the end. Kenneth is comfortable speaking to groups large and small. The school provides a projector and screen and a microphone when necessary.
